hahas. been real busy the past few days. okay, actually maybe not but it just felt so. think all the swocs' biological clocks are turning haywire already.

went for qihang on sunday evening. the shows were kinda abstract but i think the main thing that made me not really enjoy it was because of how monotonous it was. every ju was about death, crying, depression n stuff. made me feel kinda depressed. lols. but according to my dad, the scripts were good, just that the actresses din seem to understand the depth of the ju's well enough to portray the real meanings through their acting.

anw on a side note, i met lin lao shi!! hahas. been ages since we last saw her. and i realised that she used to stay in kr! but it was the old kr. hahas. cool eh, and she said that she still has her kr shirts. whoaaa.

got to see her son's photos too. so cute!!! too bad she din bring him along. heh. but wells, was nice to catch up a little with her =)

seeing all the young boys n girls in the audience at the performance was kinda overwhelming. gave me the "i used to be like them" kinda feeling but now i feel old. lols.

had dinner at the ghim moh area near ulu pandan cc, then went back to hall for swoc drinking session. hahas. v interesting experience i must say. there were times when we were almost gone but surprisingly, no one was dead drunk. which is good! haha.

was quite amused at this certain point in time, when i had to drink a cup of pear vodka mixed with ribena as a forfeit. the amount of alcohol added was quite substantial i think, and shixiu warned that it was quite xiong, and told me to take it easy. ahahs. but when i drank it, it was quite nice. but yeah, could taste the amt of alcohol in it. anw, i was enjoying the drink slowly coz i din wanna get myself drunk and then suddenly the guys asked if i was okay. n my reply was "its quite nice leh" hahaa. and i was like laughing. heh. i think they got kinda freaked out and immediately 3 or 4 of them actually stood up and tried to stop me frm drinking. lols. super amusing! heh.

the whole drinking session became a sort of swoc bonding session and we talked all the way until 8 am in the morning. and i had set my publicity sub-comm meeting to be at 11 am. lol. managed to wake up in time and had my meeting. woohooo we were all sober! heh.

had swoc main comm meeting after dinner that night, which ended with another short bonding session. seriously, we all can talk a lot. lols. but it was fun. hahaa =) watched the last episode of mars vs venus on mobtv thanks to le hia and then slept in the wee hours of the morning.

woke up at lunch time and did some pub stuff at the jcrc room until i was supposed to leave for cityhall to meet the rest of the stardust pple for dinner. initially thought that i was meeting only the girls, until waysi mentioned tt we're meeting the rest of the stardust pple too. hahaa.

talked abt our og identity and stuff there. lols. was damn funny! omg i think ruisheng's kinda afraid of our og le. lol!

went to equinox after tt with liyang, alastair, donna, alvin n this other friend of their's called victor. got shixiu to accompany me there. hehs. the place is super nice! and the view.. omg. really breathtaking! was quite an interesting experience there, i guess. haahs. v interesting pple i know. heh.

bought supper back for edward n yb and finally went to sleep at like i dunno wad time again. woke up at lunch time and now im home! wow. i wonder when we'll be adjusting our bio clocks back. hahaha. i sincerely doubt it'll be anytime soon. lols.

oh anw, saw lynette soh at ke ai ji just now. went there for lunch with le hia before coming home. heh. and saw melvin's brother too! lols. they really really look quite alike lehh.

sighs.

results were out online last night for biz yr 1 students. honestly, i'm very disappointed. deproved by really a lot. sure, CAP scores and our grades are just nothing but numbers and letters respectively but it still sucks when everyone has improved except u.

and it doesnt help when my dad's first rxn when he saw my grades was "不好!" hello, i know that okay.

but they just dun understand. so many things have happened during the sem. i really wanted to study hard and well. really really. i even went to study on my birthday la! who else wld do that when u're supposed to enjoy! oh man.

i just hate it when they keep thinking that i've been slacking and playing and enjoying too much. and the worst thing is that they keep saying it, as if to make sure that i know wad they're thinking. i just dun wanna argue. really.

life just sucks sometimes, doesn't it?

shall spend the night slacking away today. hahas. suddenly feel the need to relax a little.

miss my old friends suddenly. felt so glad to have seen michelle just now, even though it was just for awhile n it was coz of the SAT books my sis wanted to borrow. haha. min's goodnight message was so timely too, i was almost close to tears. haha. dun ask me why, coz i dunno y either.

taking a break from photoshopping. haha. this is killing me!!! thank goodness i didnt choose so many photos to be put up on the swoc gallery. even though im just deleting the backgrounds for now, all the guys' hair are making me sick of photoshopping. for once, i actually wished that they had just plastered their hair down neatly or something. it'll be soooooooooo much easier to crop! lol. okok enough of complains. hahaha.

rain, rain go away...

its raining yet again! seems like its been raining on all days when we're NOT doing canvassing. heh. in a way, its good coz its much better to be doing industrial canvassing under the sun than in the rain and getting all sloppy and soggy. yucks.

but come to think of it, even though i've only been to one canvassing so far (out of 2), its really quite meaningful. okay, not the cliched "put in as much effort as possible to help the needy" kinda meaningful. its more like i feel that we learn more about life outside of hall, outside of our covered shells. as we walk around the industrial parks, we get to meet really different types of people. people who talk about politics, people who are really struggling to make ends meet, people who are rich and yet dun wanna donate a single cent (sigh.) and of course, there're the warm and friendly people who not only donate money but are also willing to help us out of their jobs (we met this nice lady who donated money and even gave my friend some sample pimple cream. haha. she was really cute, she made sure we stayed in her shop while she searched up and down for the sample. and she was so sincere about it that we din have the heart to say no.)

of course, the sense of satisfaction at the end of the day for having survived a canvassing day under the hot sun is as overwhelming. hahas. and wow, the lure of ice-cream can really make us wanna work harder! lols.

yesterday was spent having meeting after meeting after meeting. heh. but different kinds of meetings. lols. had my publicity sub-comm meeting at noon in blk c lounge. the whole blk is sooo quiet! but anw, discussed lotsa pub stuff for swoc. went for lunch thereafter with haojie, gilyn, britt and shix at rolling wok. hopefully can get sponsorship from them too. lols. cabbed down with shix to ps after that to meet liyang about another sponsorship. chatted with him after all the more formal stuff was over. hahas. realised tt we can really talk a lot for a looong time! lol. his friend came after that and wow, another potential sponsorship hopefully in the making. hehs. went back to amk hub again after that to meet my dear girls (:

somehow, like wad min n i were saying in the bus last night, the six of us somehow dun really keep in contact much for some time, but when we finally do meet, we really enjoy ourselves thoroughly! all the catching up and chatting. hahaha. and not forgetting all the jokes and stuff. heh. really enjoy the company of the 5 of them =)

everyone's leaving for everywhere around the world, though. ben kee, daniel n kenneth to USA for work n travel, ck to France for some exchange thing, huangfang to somewhere in France as well also for some exchange thing, ruijun, kahyen n yixi to taipei for holiday (so envious!!!!), waysi to hongkong, etc etc. while i'll be stuck in good old Singapore, working for Sheares Hall. arrghh! but its okay, i guess, since the rest of the swocs r really fun to be with too! heh. at least life wun be so sian. hehe =D

anyway, i've realised that i haven replied to tags for SUPER DUPER LONG! heh. been so lazy omg. will do so really soon yeah! hahas. i hope!

been out for the entire week, except today. feels good to finally stay at home, even though i dun have a choice, coz the aircon guys are here to install the new aircon. the one in my room sorta broke down last week. was like a sauna at night! but yay, finally can go back to sleeping on my bed again tonight. though there's still a lot of cleaning up to do later since 2 aircon guys became 1 aircon guy and efficiency has sort of been reduced.

woohoo! yay! StarDust '07 is finally over! hahas.

yesterday seemed to have passed by in a blur. except for the beginning of the day. omg. still cant believe im THAT blur. arrghh. i actually thought that University Hall was University Cultural Centre and i went to University Hall instead! and i even thought to myself that hey, im early! hahas. was so proud of myself for awhile, until i saw the campus map and realised it was otherwise =\

but anyway, other than that, everything went rather smoothly. hahas. rehearsal started kinda late and there were minor cock-ups along the way but that's what rehearsals are for right. lol. the actual show was good! at least to me, when i was watching from backstage. hahas. my emcees are good! its kinda fun being the emcees' nanny. hahaha. they're v funny pple.

StarDust was fun while it lasted =) got to know more bizaders better last night. in just one night. haha. cool eh.

yayy!! finally, we're free! =)

i've been waiting for this day (okay, yesterday) for so long. no more 7 hrs per week of japanese lessons. it was really fun, but it was very tiring too. and i guess since i had to keep studying for the weekly japanese tests, i had sort of neglected my other modules a little. i mean, i had tried to do tutorials but i guess i could have done more. hmm but now's not the time for regrets. hahas.

went with the girls to ps yesterday. char drove us there (: xin ku ni le!
ate at Manhattan Fish Market. haha. my gosh, the 4 of us shared the seafood platter for 2 and we almost cldnt finish it! it was really super filling. but satisfying. the mushroom was nice too! hehe. we could finally sit and chat without worrying abt going for the next lesson n stuff. maybe tt explained why we sat there for almost 3 to 4 hours. lol. went walking ard, shopping n stuff. (and i started searching for things to make the doortags for swoc!)

anyway, i still cant believe that time has passed so fast! one moment we were still preparing to go for bizad's foc. and now, we've already sat for exams for two sems! its like, wow.. the phrase 光阴似箭，日月如梭 is really true.

but i think im really glad to have joined the things that i have joined and made the friends that i have made throughout this past year. they really make my uni life so much more exciting. oh and of course, not to forget all my dear friends i've known before uni too =)
