winter is here! hahhaa. the extremely strong winds and cold weather makes it REALLY hard for me to even wanna get out of my bed in the mornings. but nothing beats the excitement of seeing snow actually falling from the sky!
was at a coffeehouse near school this evening with yinghwee during our 1hr break between lessons and there was a sudden commotion outside and it was actually the sound of hail in the midst of the rain! haha. we were so excited over it even though it only lasted for a few seconds =p
was skyping with my darling when hail started pouring like crazy. really REALLY heavily! cldnt resist taking pictures of it. haha =p
looks like super heavy rain but its actually hail! really pieces of ice with diameter of ard 4mm. hahaha.
continued skyping, oblivious to the fact that the others were trying to contact me to get out n play with the snow! haha oops =p but still joined them in the end. hehe =)

the changes in temperature and daylight savings have reminded me that autumn is here and winter's coming soon. but i was just looking at my photos coz i was too bored and i realised something

by the way, the sun sets at around 4+pm these days so when we left class at 3+, the sun was starting to set already :)

LOL. ok this is really random but i was typing this post while listening to class95 online. and at 1107pm Swedish time, the national anthem was played suddenly. hahaha. good morning singapore! lol. n apparently the subaru challenge is on once again. wow. lols.
anyway, as i was saying, its already november! its like, the beginning of our 4th month here on exchange. suddenly having mixed feelings. hahaa. even though i have been looking forward to going home (and i still am coz of all the pple i miss in singapore), the sudden realization that 3 months have passed like that is kinda scary. haha. i know i sound really contradictory. on the one hand, i really cant wait for the 2 more months to hurry pass by so that i can go back to meet people who i miss so so much. the 5 month long wait is kind of torturous even with studies and travelling to distract me. but wells on the other hand, this means that the exchange experience is ending soon. im really going to miss the cold weather, having to cook our own meals, cycling to and from classes, going to town to shop and pass time and just enjoy the super relaxed lifestyle here. to be honest i think i m enjoying the slacker life as much as possible as i can now. haha. though i think a lot of people say tt since we're on exchange we shd go travel as much as we can, go party and do things we dun think we'll get to do in singapore but i realised that i prefer doing things i like doing. and a great part of it is basically just taking a break from the super hectic lifestyle in singapore. hahaa. come to think of it, im really lucky to be able to come for SEP =) thank u daddy n mummy for giving me this chance to learn to be independent. haha. even though i think im still dependent in some ways but wells at least i have learnt how to depend on myself sometimes =)
okay enough of all that emo talk. hahaha. just suddenly felt quite reflective.
anws, my other cousin tengren came over to lund to visit! hahas. teresa n i went to sparta for dinner on friday night thanks to our hosts audwin, qin lei n syn yi, all from smu. feasted on asian dishes like pineapple rice, tom yam soup, baked salmon, stir-fried cabbage with carrots, chicken in red wine sauce and qin lei's pasta. haha. the smu pple r really nice and friendly. hahas =) audwin n tengren came over to delphi last night for dinner before tengren went back to jönkoping this morning. feels nice to be able to see at least one family member in person here! hahaha =p

just ended a potluck party! hahaa. quite nice =D initially we were kinda apprehensive coz like there were quite few people we know but wells it was a really nice gathering. got people from smu, darren's bball friends and us! hahha. kinda like the atmosphere where like everyone's enjoying nice, home-cooked food and company. haha. there was this japanese guy who's super friendly and funny. like, he's really sincere in making friends and yeah he was really amusing. hahaa. and i guess it was nice to just sit ard n chat abt a lot of things. and yes, photo-taking! hehe =p
really quite amazed by how everyone's so nice and like responsible coz once we started to clear the tables almost everyone started doing so as well and we managed to clear the table and wash up fast. hehe.

its Halloween weekend here so there have been a lot of parties going on everywhere. err but haha yah boring me has been staying in my room trying to cram 17 chapters worth of stuff into my brain =p anyways there were like parties in my corridor's kitchen and the neighbouring corridor and i think there was a party in some guy's room near mine. and they were playing super loud music the WHOLE NIGHT! my goodness =S
and then at 540am, a whole group of guys were singing Last Christmas! omg. and some parts were off-key summore. and i cldnt do anything coz the head of my bed was in the direction of that room! oh my goodness. seriously wanted to just shut them up. hahaa. imagine poor me trying to rest before mugging and them partying. arrghh =S
