BiTs 'N PiEces oF mY LifE...

whee. its been one week but feels like ages since i've last blogged. reason being i borrowed the whole set of da chang jin (Jewel in the Palace) frm my aunt on sunday morning. n i spent almost every waking hr i had watching the whole thing. coz i have to return the vcds to her tmr coz she's lending them to her other relatives. hahas. so exciting! some parts were v draggy though. so typical of korean movies to be long n draggy with a lot of twists in the story. frm the middle i was so tired of all the twists tt i juz fast forwarded most of it, to the extent tt my sis said it was like a silent show. hahas. oh well.

went to st nicks on tuesday with mint n hf. main mission: to eat lunch at the canteen. lol. typical sn old girls. applied for ad-hoc relief teaching there too. rushed to meet rj at city hall after that for our indulgence spree!! so exciting! changing appetites again! n we sat at the exact same table n exact same seats. ordered cheesecakes all at half price. omg. so sinful. yet so delicious. yummy! went to queensway after that to shop for shoes n clothes. sports merchandise rock man. three of us all bought the small nike bottles! hahaha so cute. mine's the light blue one (almost all my things are blue as usual), rj bought the white one n hf bought the pink one. so cute!

finished watching dcj last night/this afternoon. sth wrong with the disc lor. so sad. last episode summore. but yay finally managed to clear the whole series. its a wonder how life is like a cycle. n how kids tend to take after their parents, whether in real life or reel life.

smu interview this morning. not bad, quite interesting. hahas. but yeah it was kinda sian for me. i dun like to make comments so frequently juz coz i have to do so for my interviewers to assess me. had to write an essay in 45 mins too! gosh. i have no idea if my gp skills r still valid. hahas

jw-! LOL. yeah cant lift anything when i'm wearing that skirt! hehe

ycube! yah really lag. hahas n i realised that online recipes r super SWEET!!! goodness. hahahhaa i cut down on more than half of the icing sugar n it was still v sweet lehs. oh anw i applied n went for interview for smu's school of business. for biz management.

tear! u have discount card! how did u get it!??! anw cheesecake's sold at half-price every tuesday so can go then to indulge in cheesecake! yumyum! :p

yen! i miss u too! wheee changing appetites' food is so nice la! esp the cheesecake. i think. hahas anw smu's essay is now 45 mins leh. n the interview is actually in a discussion kind of format, 8 interviewees, 2 interviewers. anw GOOD LUCK for ur interview tmr! =)

kai! hahas yes i intend to work! i dun wanna waste my life away n grow fat again. time to do sth after my driving lessons. hehe. but yeah need to wait till i clear all my driving lessons first den search again. soon i guess =)

so sweet. baked a cake yesterday. rj came over to watch me bake n she baked cookies! hahas. n she bought icing sugar! whoa so sweet. oh yes my first attempt to bake all on my own was a success! yays. halfway thru measuring all the ingredients, this person from smu called to tell me i was to go for an interview on 31st march. so anti-climax. hahas but yeah. attempted making icing too. n according to this recipe we found online, we were supposed to add like 4 ounces of icing sugar into this blended mixture. oh man. after juz adding in less than half of 4 ounces we cldnt stir it properly coz the mixture was too thick! n it was too sweet already. had a lot of icing sugar left n we ended up sprinkling huge amts of it onto the cookies rj baked! the layer of icing was so thick that we cldnt even see some of the cookies! lols. but it was so fun! :) though a tad too sweet. i feel so thirsty after all the sugar.

met jiewei for some shopping at bugis on sat. so exciting. we each bought the same t-shirt with a really cute quote, "friends don't let friends talk to ugly guys". lol. quite mean hahas but it was still cute lehs. bought a mini denim skirt too. gosh my mum was so shocked at the length tt she kept ranting to me abt it can. arrgh. even up till yesterday. sighs. its not that short wad!

yen! hahas yes CA's changing appetite. eh wait im not sure abt the actual spelling hahas but yah i think u get the idea =)

rj! ruiiiiiijjjjjjjjjjjjjjuuuuuunnnnn yes we need to go exercise le! all the sugar! but yay nice cookies, nice cake! wahahha so fun. i still have icing sugar! ahhh!!! i feel sick juz lookin at it. hahas. yays bake again soon! ca next week with hf? hehe need to go exercise le! :p

tear! hahas yeah changing appetize. or appetite. oops im not sure abt the spelling. hahas. not rich lor, we only went there to eat the dessert. oh man. the desserts were so rich but we were not. lols. pun intended! okay anw have fun working! hahas

finally went out today! hahas. not that staying at home's not good, but wells its good to go out yeah! had lunch with yixi, hf, rj. the ramen's not bad! v filling! walked to marina square frm raffles place area. shopped until the 3 of us were juz silent coz we were all so tired. lols. went to CA to eat the mudpie and black forest cheesecake! yummy! so nice! gosh so sinful... cant wait for our next trip to CA and gelare!! hahahs :D

to my horror, i realised i've been jobless for almost a month! gosh.. one MONTH! oh my oh my oh my i cant believe im so slack. wahahaha i'm really too kind to myself alr. hahas not that that isnt good, but still! one month of slacking! sheesh can feel my brain starting to get slow in processing stuff. i think. haha oh wadeva. borrowed books frm the library n i managed to finish one bk alr. hahaas not bad i must say. hehe.

driving today was so funny! i dunno y. coz even at my super slow rate of learning, i've already reached the part when i have to look out for my blind spots before turning n changing lanes. having to do so many things at once is kinda stressful. guess that's where the need for practise comes in! but my next lesson's gonna be on the 29th of march. more than one week later. uh oh, hope i can still rmb how to drive man!

ntu, nus, smu open houses happened over the weekend. went to ntu with hf n min, nus with the class pple n smu with mainly kairu. hahas. ntu was okay, maybe coz its open hse was only one day long so there were quite a lot of pple there. n to my surprise quite a number of pple r interested in mathematical science. hmms. tt was wad i was thinkin of doing! talkin to the prof made me more interested in the subj. the business talk wasnt v appealing though. nus was a bit more happening i think! but then it was the second day of the open hse so i guess there're less pple ard alr. din exactly go ard much, listened to the business talk. was quite boring but i still prefer nus business to ntu. hahas i wonder y. asked a psychologist abt the course n stuff. somehow it din seem as interesting as i thought. psychology's still wad im interested in but maybe not to the extent in which i will die die go to fass for it i guess. smu was not bad. the business talk was so hugely popular we all had to move frm a small room to a conference hall. n yet there weren't enough seats! i liked the presentation smu gave. hahas its more interesting. n concise too.

still not v sure wad i wanna do! or actually to be exact, im not sure which courses to put as first choice n stuff! so much to think thru. so ma fan..

oh! sn funfair on sat! wahahah i din go. oops. oh wells, had driving n then went to ntu! anws heard tt response was good! yays. my only memory of the funfair is that of my mum n my sis making mashed potatoes while i watched tv! lols. so lame.

went to hf's dad's stall to eat ban mian on sat after ntu. wow v v nice! hahas. but it was so filling that i was still full before i fell asleep! =\ okay maybe tt was an exaggeration. hahas but yeah somewhere along that line la. it was really good! shall bring my family there next time. IF i can rmb the directions. which i doubt so. as usual. hahas oh well... =)

i cant believe i watched almost the whole episode of campussuperstar last night. hahas but not bad la, the songs r quite nice. cheeyang looks quite cute. as in the little boy kinda cute. hahaha but too bad din really get to listen to him sing his rendition of yue liang dai biao wo de xin. coz my mum wanted to check toto results. hahah dotz. anw he shd really sing an FIR song. he's so good at that!

watched a lot of funny shows last night. funny as in, shows tt i usually wun watch. yet i happened to do so coz i din have much to do. sighs. im so gonna miss this life lah. hahas yep anw i watched the new channel 8 show, then channel-surfed to suria where this drama was being aired. its titled Dia. hahaha quite cool, juz that i needed the subtitles desperately to follow the show. n there was this point in time when the subtitles were hanged or sth. shucks. was so lost la. hahas but then after awhile, at the next scene all the subtitles flowed like crazy. well at least i understood the storyline somehow. i miss watching bollywood movies. haha even though sometimes the songs halfway thru the show is very long. but those shows r nice la. hehs.

anw, been thinking of what courses i wanna take in uni. have till 1st april but yeah, at least shd have some idea alr. so far i think i wld most prob take sth in business. but! after dropping econs in jc i have a lil fear that things wld end up screwed up again. how how how?!?! sighs. either business or maths in nus. or mathematical science in ntu. my dad's fren was/is an associate prof in nus n he actually said before that the math course in nus doesn't have anything special. hmms, maybe mathematical science wld be better then. but i still dunno if i wanna face maths for the rest of my life. i mean i like maths, but having to face all the same things for the rest of my life? like looking at algebraic equations until im 50 or 60?! haha no thanks. not really i guess. sighs. maybe business wld be better. then again, i'll have to do a lot of readings. well considering i only read a maximum of half a newspaper article everytime the article feels too long, it might be a struggle. arrgh. this is so irritating. n im so sick of having pple asking wad courses i wanna take. its so difficult to decide, isnt it?! i miss jc life. esp the social, non-academic part. ahaha but ms koh rocks la. its a pity i din get A for chem but hey, a B is a huge improvement for me alr, considering the highest i ever got for chem was an E. other than a C for my first chem ct. seriously, ms koh rocks!! hahahas. n mr yong too, even though i always rmb being kinda put off by his inspirational speeches. esp when he says tt we have to study for at least 18 hrs everyday. oops. but yeah hard work always pays off, even if u dun study for 18hrs per day. i miss nj!!

i made an interesting observation today: when u have nothing to do at home, the kitchen is the most dangerous place ever. coz u'll juz keep looking for sth to do so u'll end up eating. a lot. arrgh. hahas.

kai! yes yes i miss everyone else.. 1st march went past in such a blur tt i dun even think i cld make sense of anything that happened on that day. seriously. anws cya on sunday okay! =)

hmmx. was quite an interesting day to some extent. hahas

had driving lesson at 10.30am. when i was looking at the screen where they broadcast the car allocations for all students, i happened to see serene lek's name. n guess wad, it was really serene! hahaha so anw i juz went to where the cars r parked n waited for time to pass before my lesson. tt happened to be when the previous batch of students ended their lessons. n i met pricilla! so qiao! finally met her again at ssdc! hahas anw talked for awhile then she left. awhile later, serene came. n then liqi arrived too! haha gosh it was like a reunion of some sorts la. anw yups the 3 of us went for our individual lessons after that. oh man the lesson was quite horrible today. my steering sucks la. n the instructor... hmm hahas no comments man.

went to book for more lessons after that. for the month of april, im going to have driving lessons everyday frm monday to friday until mid april. wahahah gosh i hope those lessons r enough man. so ex!!! but yeah that's sort of beside the point la. walked out with serene until the castle green bus stop area, then took cab down to compass point to meet t.serene to get my pay! hehe. finally man! so ma fan, had to go all the way there.. but nvm la, at least i finally settled the january one. sighs. im dreading the chasing process for my feb pay alr. really hope things will go smoothly!!

seriously my sense of direction is really odd! i think i've nv been to compass point so far in my life(yes i really dun rmb going there before) so i walked out frm one exit, went back in, bought my mocha frapp, went out frm another exit, walked to the bus stop outside sengkang mrt, entered the station n went thru a lot of escalators n ended up near compass point! felt so dumb lah! like, arrghhh i juz wasted all my time n energy for nothing.

anw went back home, ate sth then went downstairs to the gym to look for min n hf. ended up going to min's hse for awhile, then went off to my grandma's hse.

wahahaha. the events seem to juz die down but hehe oh wells. anw i think mingjie(my cousin) is so cute!!! ahahahahah so funny la, he looks like a replicate of my uncle, who is his dad. LOL.

LOL. tt's so hilarious! oh man i realised i really miss the kids i meet frm that job. sighs. but oh well! =)
