ooo... hahas okie i'm finally updating. after a few days...?! lol. hmmx. lotsa things have been happening these days.
has ushering yesterday. went to sch at 9 to help write the souvenirs for ndc. ok, actually, i was supposed to write but i had to go for the judging for C3 n sharon n runyu helped me finish my stack! thanks dears! =) yeah. so anw, i went back yesterday to help finish up the other stacks of namelists as well.
den the other ushers for some syf presentation organised by ccab oso arrived n we all started rushing to city hall mrt! wenhao, victor, kairu, mich, johannes, amanda n i took the bus tt took4eva to arrive when we cld have reached in minutes if we had taken train instead! but nvm...
the event was supposed to start at 4 but we had to reach at 1239 for some briefing and some dry runs. but we all ended up slacking n talking among ourselves. haha was kinda lame lah, but i shall not talk abt all the stupid things i did :S
hmmx had to rush to meet rj n yx after the presentation for NJCO concert at SCH! hahas n coz i ended earlier, we planned to go eat first then buy stuff n go to watch. but due to a turn of events, we almost got lost in some ulu place, yx cldnt find us n she had to take 3 cabs to find us instead and we din get to eat a proper meal. damn. n we turned up late for the concerT! had to wait outside for the first song to end n it was really long! hehs saw chii tarng there again. n huimin... n quite a few pple. hahas. the concert was quite ok. sad to say i dun really noe how to appreciate. heh. but we got to see min n ky in action! lol. min's soo pro! haha n ky's part damn funny. ahhahas.
oh yeah! the six of us FINALLY got to take a FULL PICTURE TOGETHER!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG!!!!!!!!!! hahhaas. soooo happy! after 4eva... yays! yx muz send to me kaes?! hahas. n it was a really nice pic too! *grins*
saw lotsa sn pple too!!!! saw peg, son, basilia, xiaoyuen, yeoks, emily, n a lot more i cldnt rmb. hhaas. i miss sn!!!!!!! hehe... but the nj co pple had to go back to sch so only yx, hf, rj n i went to lao pa sat to eat our "early supper". ended up eating until almost 1130. had to rush to take the train! hmmx but it was still fun! got to talk to hf in the train after her 'disappearance' since first 3 months. lol.
placer! yup, think the SF comm's kinda stressed up... oh well, we all can help think of ideas for publicity for SF n fund-raising! hahas. think its already proposed. oh yeah n it was really fun having u ard during the judging for classroom cleanliness comp! hahas. n dinner was interesting toos! hope u enjoyed urself as much as we all did, even though everyone was reeaaalllly tired n all that =) take care okies?! dun slack too much on ur 'resting' day! hahas

hellooooos! hahs. in bytez now. kinda boring. realised tt most pple r juz playing games here. hmmx haven been blogging for the past few days coz my comp's still conked up! cant see wad im typing.. oh wells
anyhows, the choir pple r back!!! yays! miss them lots! hahas welcome back to Singapore! =)

phew! haha okies lucky the laptop can be used. so i can type my entry! WooHoo~! lols. ok enough of crap.
hmmx. lemme see... lotsa things happened this week! the most scary one was proposal review i wld say. hahas. but well, like wilL said, we survived! yeah man! =) yepx. proposal review was yesterday. after we saw wad happened to the NDC comm a few days b4, we all started to panic. everyone tried to do all we could to try to ensure it wasnt a nightmare. we din even dare to be late! hahas. but it was quite ok. think my comm's proposal was quite weird though. the theme was undecided yet so all we cld do was try to think of more general stuff for decorations ard the school. n i think the point tt ms ng pointed out, abt most prob receiving poor response from classes if we asked them to do banners really made sense. will have to think of other alternatives then! thought tt open day wld be v fun n all tt but all the work seems kinda scary... hahas nvm, OD will rawk! coz WE're organising it! lol. really bhb here. hahas but optimism helps yeah?! oh! btw, NJC's Open Day 2004 will be held on 16th October! yeah interested pple mark this date down okies?! =)

CIA had a meeting with our seniors for them to pass down their duties to us. slacked in the council room for some time, coz the meeting was at 1730 but my lessons ended at 2! heh. ended up playing monopoly with brent, gaius, huiyand n shuhui. was quite ok at first but after a while the game got really draggy n i almost wanted to fall asleep! gosh... n tt was b4 the meeting with the seniors! so basically during the meeting i was kinda stoning. though i was listening. heh. kinda regretted slacking but anyhows its over. no use crying over spilt milk, or rather, no use whining over wasted time. yeahs.
proposal review ended at 9 plus. was supposed to meet yp to get the tix for his guitar concert. but the whole place was soo dark! din dare to walk all the way to the sidegate n back alone so i asked di n ky to come along with me. hahas. lucky they were with me! after getting the tix, we went back to council room to get our stuff. on the way, the lights along the corridor outside the sanctuary were flickering n suddenly went OFF! the three of us were really freaked out i tell u... we screamed n ran back! really tiring. den ky, brent, shaun, bobby, pradeep n i went to KAP for dinner. think everyone was kinda tired alr. we juz ate n din really talk much if i rmb correctly. oh wells. reached home at almost eleven n i was supposed to go to sch at 830 this morning! oh man..
ebroadcasting was quite ok i guess. but the intro part was really boring coz the guy was juz talking abt the different ways we can use to capture camera shots so tt the news clip would look nice. hmmx in any case, i was kinda awoken when he showed us most of a clip abt our sch's orientation! hahas. cld recognise quite a few pple in the news clip. so exciting! hahas. cant believe i actually spent 5 hours caged up in bytez!
went to council room for a while b4 my parents came to fetch me to go watch qihang. hahas. n it was really nice =)

my whole week is PACKED! gosh... gonna be real busy. oh wells
stayed back to discuss proposal for open day but in the end we decided there wasnt much to discuss. hehs. so sorry... hmm slacked in the council room for a while. then cand came n we started looking in the cupboards at wad the seniors have left behind. n guess wad?! we found the 32nd n 33rd council song lyrics! WoW. n then we asked heng wee to search the comp for the songs but we found a few video clips instead! hahas. including the orientation video! lol. so cool! =)

oh n to the seniors, esp hasan(coz i was reading his blog. haha), hey, u guys have really created a HUGE impact on us, be it the house reps or 36th SC. im sure all of us appreciate all that u all have done for us... although u all have stepped down n we have stepped up, i really hope that the bonds forged between u, the seniors n us, the juniors, will remain or get grow even stronger. =) hahas come visit us in the council room toos! we'll miss u guys... =) luv u all lots!

"Look out!"
Joan turned but it was too late. The water bomb had splashed right into her face. She winced. That was cold, she thought. She reached out to wipe the water from her face. She and her friends were at Cindy's birthday party. The games had been fun, but tiring as well. She was glad when it was time to head for the refresments.
"Hey Joan!" Cindy called out.
Joan turned and saw Cindy dragging a 16 year old teenager behind her.
"Let me introduce my brother to you.He's Jason." she said.
Joan turned to look at the stranger for the first time. She gasped. Wasn't this the guy who had teased her everyday when he met her? She was stunned. "You..," was all she could manage to say.
But Jason grinned at her," So this is your friend. I think we met before, haven't we, Joan?"
Joan just stared at Cindy and her brother, nodding her head slowly.
"Oh, if that's the case, i shall leave you two to talk among yourselves," Cindy replied, walking away to entertain the rest of the guests.
"So..hi.," Jason said and smiled, showing his perfect set of white teeth.
"Oh, hello," Joan replied.She took her time to look at Jason. He had a set of deep blue coloured eyes, which reminded her of the ocean. He was tall and had blonde hair. Everything about him matched completely. He seemed..perfect. Too perfect. She would have believed in love at first sight if she didn't have a boyfriend. Too bad she did. And she wasn't going to show Jason that she was interested in him in any way.
"Got to go," Joan turned and left the party.

The sunlight shone into her room. Joan woke up. School was starting again, and the summer holidays were over. No more daydreaming, she thought. Walking into the hall, she picked up the phone and dialed her boyfriend, Andy's number.
"Hello?"
"Hey, Andy?" Joan said.
"Um..Joan? What's up?"
"Can you pick me up in fifteen minutes time?"
"Huh?"
"I thought u said that you wanted to go to school with me today..?"
"Oh. Yeah. I sort of um, forgot. Something cropped up. Sorry honey."
Without another word, Andy hung up.
Well, that was weird, Joan thought. But she ignored that feeling as she believed Andy when he said that something had cropped up. She went to bathe, then she went to school by herself.
On reaching the school gate, she spotted a car that seemed familar to her. The car went into the school and parked itself in an empty spot. Andy got out of the car. Joan smiled and was about to call him when he went over to the passenger's seat and opened the door. A girl dressed in a sweater and a mini skirt stepped out. Joan gasped as the scene continued in front of her. Andy took the girl by her hand and they kissed each other. Joan could not believe what was going on. Is this a dream, or is this for real? She thought as she pinched herself. Ouch, that hurt, she thought. Knowing that she would have to confront Andy sooner or later, she walked up to the couple. Andy saw her and was shocked.
"I demand an explaination." Joan looked at him sternly.
"I--"
"So now you have seen it, and you should know what it means. He wants to break up with you. Get it?" The girl beside Andy interruped.
Joan was speechless. But knowing that she could not do anything about it, she just glared at Andy and ran away.
She ran, not knowing where she was heading to. She just kept running in the hallway. People stared at her. She knew why. Tears were streaming down her crimson cheeks. Her eyes were red and she looked unsightly. She saw a girls' toilet and went inside. Luckily for her, it was empty and she would not have to face any more stares for now. She washed her face and looked into the mirror.
"Joan, you're such a fool. You could have known that Andy is such a freak and he was cheating on you all the time. How could you have fallen into this dumb trap without knowing it?" She said to her reflection.
But the reflection just stared back at her. It gave no reply, and no expressions to show that it was angry. The tears came back.

Without another word, Andy hung up.
Well, that was weird, Joan thought. But she ignored that feeling as she believed Andy when he said that something had cropped up. She went to bathe, then she went to school by herself.
On reaching the school gate, she spotted a car that seemed familar to her. The car went into the school and parked itself in an empty spot. Andy got out of the car. Joan smiled and was about to call him when he went over to the passenger's seat and opened the door. A girl dressed in a sweater and a mini skirt stepped out. Joan gasped as the scene continued in front of her. Andy took the girl by her hand and they kissed each other. Joan could not believe what was going on. Is this a dream, or is this for real? She thought as she pinched herself. Ouch, that hurt, she thought. Knowing that she would have to confront Andy sooner or later, she walked up to the couple. Andy saw her and was shocked.
"I demand an explaination." Joan looked at him sternly.
"I--"
"So now you have seen it, and you should know what it means. He wants to break up with you. Get it?" The girl beside Andy interruped.
Joan was speechless. But knowing that she could not do anything about it, she just glared at Andy and ran away.
She ran, not knowing where she was heading to. She just kept running in the hallway. People stared at her. She knew why. Tears were streaming down her crimson cheeks. Her eyes were red and she looked unsightly. She saw a girls' toilet and went inside. Luckily for her, it was empty and she would not have to face any more stares for now. She washed her face and looked into the mirror.
"Joan, you're such a fool. You could have known that Andy is such a freak and he was cheating on you all the time. How could you have fallen into this dumb trap without knowing it?" She said to her reflection.
But the reflection just stared back at her. It gave no reply, and no expressions to show that it was angry. The tears came back.

Joan stepped out of the toilet, feeling refreshed. She turned a corner and nearly banged into Jason.
"Whoa! Watch where you're going, will ya--" Jason stopped in mid sentence when he noticed that it was Joan. "Oh, hey, what's up?" Jason looked at Joan's gloomy face.
"Something happened?" He asked.
But Joan just turned and walked to her class.

It was the last period.Jason couldn't concentrate in class. What was wrong with Joan? Why did she have to avoid him everytime? Maybe she already knew that he had fallen for her. But it was impossible. So far, Jason had not given out any hints to show that. Well, who knows? He thought. Humans are weird. He took out his notebook.

I am feeling troubled. I met her again today at the hallway. She looks kind of..sad. I wished I could help her in any way. But she seems to be avoiding me every time. youth day, but guess wad?! we had invest rehearsal! had to wake up damn early n bring blazer, court shoes n white shirt. ended up changing my shoes in the car as i thought i was gonna be late! ahah in the end i was kinda on time. yay.
rehearsal was quite ok. juz a little tiring. hahs. anyhow, well done, invest com pple! =) yeah can see wan hua n huiyang really did quite a lot. hmmx. the seniors came at ard 9 n after ard two full dress rehearsals, they were free to go.
deco n log com pple had to stay back to set up the hall for invest. stayed there for quite long. yeah

37th Student Council Investiture!
went to sch super early again, coz i din want to be late... if not sure rush, n i HATE rushing. heh. yeah so anw, stoned in SL for a while b4 preparing for invest. i brought my camera! hahahs. so happy!
the invest was quite ok. but the no. of chairs was a little screwed up. but oh wells, not really obvious so it was ok. hahas. ooh yeah but we kinda lagged when we were supposed to walk towards the stage to receive the letters of appointment! gosh... so embarassing! oh well
had reception after tt n it was TOTALLY picture-taking time! hahas. rushed everywhere to take photos with many many pple. seniors, frens, Aerius, CIA etc etc. shall upload some other day when i have the time.
yeah n we are officially councillors now! =)
had to stay back to discuss proposal for Open Day 2004. stayed till quite late i think. haha n its juz the beginning...
thursday:

went to cr n sl again after sch. gosh, the place is sooooo untidy! CIA's in charge of these 2 places summore... muz clean up the rooms some time soon!
anyhows, candace n i were the most free pple. hahas. went to slack in the council room for a while, then ate lunch. then we went to CCAB to support the gym pple! lols. isaac n shawn were like, v shocked to see us...?! hahas. they all looked kinda nervous but anyhows, CONGRATS! hahas. our dear shawn got first for individual! omg. he's really good! hahs. n NJ's overall 2nd for both guys n gals! hahas. kim toos! good job gal =)

hahas. came back v late last night! gosh... but it was quite fun~ hahas. lemme see... SPA Skill A yesterday. think die alr lehz. dun quite understand how to do the calculations part. haha n juz did as much as i cld lor.
yeah then CIA had meeting at oasis to decide on our secretary. but sharon was not ard. dang. n we kept trying to decide on our secretary. only managed to decide after the whole tech run, which was like, 5++?! lol. how efficient! ahhas :)
hmmx den brenda, mich, melvin n i went to little india to get the deco cloth. hahas. took bus there n when we finally reached that area, we crossed the road to satisfy melvin's desire of jay-walking (though we used the traffic lights instead). it was damn hilarious, coz we juz walked blindly through this area n when we got out of it, we saw the bus stop we got out frm! so we din go anywhere near the place we were looking for! hahaha. omg. yeah finally found the shop though. n poor brenda's heart was totally broken coz of the $$$$. SC's fund's negative alr! lol. then 4 pple in nj sch u were walkin ard in little india with no sense of direction. tried to find some place to eat lunch first b4 going back since mich had to go for choir b4 1130. ha then we thought the wet market had food. yeah it had food alright, RAW food! hahas. gosh... we walked thru the wet market STILL trying to find cooked food, to no avail. think we smelled of fish n pork n chicken meat after that. :S
we decided to go to somewhere near sch for lunch instead. haha. ended up going to coro with brenda n melvin instead. mich had to go to sch straight for choir alr. met keefe, gaius, gerard, titus, estelle, richard-andrew as well.
yeps 37th SC gathered in the stuffy SL after a while n they taught us the council song!!!!! SU WAS GREAT!!!! U GO GAL! hahas. SIHUI WAS FABULOUS TOO!!! her drumming was like, OMG! so cool! lol. hmmx yeah, n we kept singing the song even though there were pple outside having oral exams. haha oops! ;)
tech run was kinda boring. haha but really, have to thank wanhua n huiyang for the effort they put in for the whole invest programme =) its really not easy having to take charge of 72 other pple who're tired n hot. thanks lots guys! =)
hmm yeah, stayed back for deco after that. haha. quite a few pple stayed back to help as well, like keefe, sui hang, both lynettes, gerard, richard, jurja, melvin, etc. cant rmb who else. haha oh yah n brenda n me lah, duh! hahas. cld only do half, coz the doors upstairs were locked, so we cldnt go up to put up the deco. oh yah ky, diana, bobby n melvin went to spray-paint the souvenirs. v v v v v nice! hahas. love the wave effect! think i got to noe some of my fellow sc pple better as well, while holding on to the cloth. haha. =)
stayed in the hall for quite some time, then we had to leave coz the uncle had to lock the doors. haha. we tried to get mr wong to treat us but he din. oh wells~ took a long time to decide where to go for dinner. but in the end, brenda, melvin, bobby, gerard, sui hang n i went to Fish & Co. after stoning at the canteen linkway, stoning at the bus stop n taking the bus blindly. hahas. brent n huiyang came to join us after that, b4 we got our seats since we had to wait for 30-45 mins for our seats. was totally exhausted by then. juz cldnt wait for the food to come n sleep! lol. n i shall juz quote brent, "anw there was a tv showing some swimming competition and guess what, we bet on the swimmer most likely to LOSE! haha. it was hilarious as we kept chanting for the swimmer we bet on to get a leg cramp and drown. eventually i lost and had to eat this disgusting piece of fried fish skin lathered with GENEROUS portions of garlic. absolutely sick! when i opened my mouth everyone ran away because of the garlic smell. haha, all in the name of fun though."
hahas he's a really good sport! sui hang too, as his forfeit was to eat a slice of lemon whole. took pics of them with their faces all scrunched up! lol. it was really hilarious! ;)
reached home at 11+ n stoned online for v long last night, but was too tired to blog, so... hahas. here's my entry! yepz maybe shall go catch up on summore sleep now. =)

but anyhows, WE WENT BACK TO ST NICKS TODAY!!!!! hahahs. so happy!!!!! =) miss the sch lots, but somehow, a lot have changed. n honestly, i think that the changes r not positive ones. these r juz my opinions lah... yeahs. ever since we graduated, there has been a lot of drastic changes in the sch. the structure of the school, the difference in attitudes n even the admin! gosh... wad's happening?! suddenly there seems to be a lack of that "homely" n warm feeling in the sch. totally different frm wad we had felt n experienced juz ard 6 or 7 months ago. can u believe it?! less than a year has passed n the sch seems so... i dunno. weird?! yeah maybe that's the word. sighx.
