BiTs 'N PiEces oF mY LifE...

WooHoo~! got a load off my chest! yepz! speech's over. hahas. got another week more of campaigning. WoW.

oh yah! shingmin:: haha yeah... sort of stone larhs. hahas been kinda busy these days. yepz! but anw, im back!!! yeah! ahah

n sally:: hey dear! ahhas yeah jia you... =)

anyhows, shall talk abt today. the only day im clear abt now. hehs. okies. went to sch real early. reached a lil b4 645, then we went to the students' lounge to meet for briefing n all tt. hhaas wasnt really nervous abt speech larhs. dunno y oso. yepz but tt's good right?!

had briefing for a while then we went off to stand at the steps near the podium, to let the whole sch see all 95 elects. hahas quite ok larhs. not exactly scared or anything. hahahhaa had 1hr45mins of lecture b4 rushing off with mich, kairu, kahyen, diana, lynette etc to students' lounge again. gosh... was kinda nervous liaos. haha but still feeling okies. yeah. then we went off to our respective venues to deliver our speeches!!! first stop: hall. WoW. waited for ages for our turn. everyone listening was bored alr larhs. haha then after nathalie, the third person in my batch finished her speech, they suddenly said tt its lunch break. so we had to go off to LT5 first, then LT1, then back to the hall again to complete the rest of the procedure. haix. after my speeches, really kinda zoning out on the stage. hahas. even though there was q&a n all. tried hard to keep myself awake, but it was really a lousy attempt. the stage lights! oh man... almost fell asleep there n then! sheesh... tt was bad. hehs. but still, i survived it!

yeah! i kinda like my batch pple! hahas kinda interesting! n keith! omg. he can really sing! he's good! serious! yeah... n daniel's "when u vote for me"... n jun kiat's very impromptu speech which made the sch impressed with his knowledge of the sch crest n all tt. hahas suppressed my laughter all the time when i was on stage! hehs. but too bad, only got to hear 10 different speeches thrice, n not the others. oh wells~!

oookies. ISMMC. they won!!!!! haha yeah again. wells, its supposed to be a good thing, right...?! haha but dunno y, history seems to be repeating itself. i dunno. y does it have to be like tt for this yr n last?! oh man, this is saddening. haix. hahas but oh wells~!

yupz! went with mich n youzhi to great world. hahas kinda rushed them there. but still, when i reached, their mice had finished running alr. yeah. n the mood at the sn area was kinda... solemn...?! hahs. yeah then finally got eileen n yanyi to fill me in on almost everything. n i guess my mood fluctuated after tt. haaha oh wells, think i kinda shocked mich n yz. hahas n both of them were like, trying to cheer me up...?! oh gosh, feeling bad now. oops. sorry to have made both of u feel weird. haha guessits juz mood swings?! hahas but i'll get over it soon larhs, haha so, yeah... =)

kkaes. got econs test tmr. dunno how im gonna fare. hahas. juz hope can pass! haha nvm. *yawns* goin to sleep now! nitez world. =)

yupz! its cca day once again, n im home early. hahas. not coz i ponned or anything though. its juz tt my cca does not have regular meetings once a week n all tt. oh wells~! went for council interview yesterday. was quite ok, i hope. hahas talked until my mouth was so dry, i cldnt close it properly! oh man... haha n having juz ended pe 15 mins before the interview din help much. so, during the whole interview, i was struggling to overcome thirst, breathlessness, disorientation and a little blurness. (we ran a total of 6 rounds round the track n did shuttle run ard 3 times :/ )

haha but anyhows, the interview's OveR!!!!! hahas kinda relieved. but i had to sign up for another interview, to be a student liason officer for the NUS pre-u seminar or sth. hehs. seems like we're gonna be kinda w-o-l-s. hahaha SLO, slow, geddit?! haha oh man. kkaes not funny. oh wells~!

tHeY GoT iNtO MM FinAlS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hahaha very very very happy for them!!!!!!!!!! ahahas. omg. hmmx. but there seems to be some prob again. juz like last yr. oh wells, juz hope tt everything's fine. they have to be larhs. haha going down to great world tmr!!!!! finally. haix. juz miss the atmosphere there. though tt place was where we freaked out like crazy coz of mm, it brings back really nice memories too... =) haha like all the crazy things we did n talked abt n... yah. hahas.

chem test juz passed. as in, its over. haha can die larhs. oh wells... think i gotta work harder. haiz... hmmx. econs test on friday. hehs. maybe i shd start studying, so i dun have to worry tmr! yeahs! haha okies. gtg! =)

hahas. juz ate lunch! yummy! juz lurveeeee my mum's prawn mee!!! hahas its delicious! fabulous! mouth-watering... :P hahas. oh wells~! had tennis lessons again today. haha kinda tiring, but still fun!! haha

went back to sn again yesterday to help out with their mm comp. tuesday, wednesday, thursday. hehs. andrew was there too. seems like lots need to be done. stayed in our dear mmpr for a long long time. hahas frm 0845 to 1600. WoW! hahahs i juz love the mmpr!!!!!! all the mm memories. haha sounds weird, but there's really this sense of belonging there. guess only the mm pple will noe. hehs. yupz. haha stoned quite a lot initially. budden i helped too larhs. haha n they were all soooooo stunned when they saw the consent form leaving times. hahaha oh man, felt sooo helpful with shingmin. haha both of us helped them to negotiate the times to leave sn for gwc, so tt it wun be rushed n all tt. kinda successful, i hope?! yeah they need LOTS of time to prepare. not like anyone will understand, but its true. experience frm last yr... oh wells~!

think i'll be going back on monday(tmr) oso. hahas juz cant seem to get sick of going there cans...?! oh man.. haha. maybe we can really ask for cip hours frm tt. beneficial to both the sch n us! hahas. sighx. test on tuesday. chem. haha think i have to rush alr. n econs essay due tmr. gonna finish soon, i hope...! hahahahaha

great world city! hehs. feel like going on wednesday n thursday. since lessons end kinda early on both days. haha maybe we can have a class outing to gwc on thursday?! hahas tt will be sooo cool! haha n get to see the mm pple toos! haha im a genius, m i?! ;)

hahas! back home. ahhhh..... feeling lethargic the whole day. haha guess wad?! i slept during the car journeys to cck columbarium, then to mandai columbarium, then after lunch frm toa payoh, then after trying to read some chem notes. haha but the trying part proved useless, coz even b4 i knew it, i fell asleep and woke up ard an hour later, realising tt i was still wearing my contacts and i was still at the same page. hahaha WoW. i feel sooo full of sleep! hehs. n guess wad?! when i went to my aunt's house for dinner, i fell asleep again! AAHHHHHH

back home! real early today! hahas. lessons r getting BoRinG!!!!! haix. wad to do... haha but our class is still ok larh, even though first 3 mths wld always be the most fun n exciting n interesting n enriching and... haha u get the idea! ;)

hmmx... sometimes, we juz dun understand certain pple, do we?! they may seem ok frm the outside, but so much muz be going through their minds! wellz~!

mm comp's next week! gosh... but dunno if they r coping not. saw frm andrew's blog tt there r still some probs since the other time i went back to sn. haix. juz hope tt all will go well. guess no one dares to get first anymore, but at least, stay in div 1...?! haha i dunno. a prize wld be best larhs, coz of all the sch stuff n all tt. but oh wells~! its no one's fault yeahs?! so... yah.

WoW. i din touch the comp for a few days! hahas so proud of myself!!!!! lols. studied with mich on sunday, for the whole day!!! hahaha kinda crappy. realised tt we din do much! but still~ at least we DID study. hehs.

life was as normal. getting a lil boring. haha but oh wells~! got to noe our respective tutors this week(finally, after 2 whole weeks of LECTURES only)! haha imagine our joy at seeing tt we got mr ducro as our gp tutor again! haha surprising but true kaes! lols.

hmmx... not much... haha juz tt i bought dance night tix. hahas on 17th April. next saturday. the dance pple are good man! hehs. saw them practising yesterday. hope it'll be really GREAT! hahas. bliss is dancing!!!! oh man...

haha. on a lighter note, today was quite nice! hehs. though kinda stonish, but still~

had physics lecture after having one hr of free period, which we realised was supposed to be physics make-up lecture when they went through the tutorial! goos luck to us for that topic then! haix. oh wells~ physics lecture was ok, then we had 1 1/2 hrs break, during which we stoned at the linkway, while a few guys went to disturb the pac net pple, for fun, n coz it isnt as good as it is! (yefan was complaining lots abt it!)

yupz! had econs lecture after tt. n i was sitting in front of yichao! wrong choice. he kept kickin my chair n disturbing n... i dunno wad! haix. cldnt concentrate on the lecture! sighx. haha but nvm larhs. haha once only. hehs.

yepz! then went with shingmin to sn once again. ahahs. stoned for awhile b4 andrew came. then they started doing mouse more seriously. but, i give up on the grp doin my mouse. really. they're not v serious lors! n andrew was the one doin, while they all juz chit-chatted like nobody's business. yeah. decided to juz see the progress for awhile. n it seems like our mouse is... i dunno how to say. hehs. but still... the feeling of doin mouse with someone who is better in experience n all tt is juz... different. hahas. learnt summore! lols. but im still not goin to join mm in nj! :P

haix. i cant believe it happened to me manx. although it lasted for only a few minutes, it was still scary... kaes. lemme relate it frm the start.

see, i went back to sn to help them do mm. then shingmin had to go back to nj coz of some special reasons. yeah. so i left with her. planned to take bus home. so, i walked all the way out of sch with her, down the long stretch of pavement. yeahs. then almost towards the end, my dad called me n said tt my sis's cca was over, n asked if i wanted to wait for free transport instead. yeahs. so i decided to go back all the way to sn. n stupid me went up the stairs to the void deck instead, coz there were pple walkin behind us, n i felt kinda lame walkin out all the way, then back again. right. so, i went the opposite direction by the "void-deck way". (hehs. i think only sn pple wld understand this.)

so, i walked up the stairs. then there was this guy standing at the top of the stairs. initially, i thought i cld juz walk past him. but, he seemed to think tt i stayed in the block of hdb flats there. he suddenly turned to me n asked, "excuse me, do u noe who is catherine?" i din noe, so i told him politely, "erm, im sorry but i dunno who tt is" n our "conversation" unfolded like this:
him: what place is this?
me: ang mo kio
him: i noe its ang mo kio. wad country is this?
me: singapore (at this point, i began to freak out. his expression seemed normal, but the tone he was speakin in was really fierce)
him: singapore right? then y is this place like this? i dun understand, u noe. singapore is like this. i told them my wife n i dun have money, we dun have food to eat! she said she was goin up to the indian woman's house to eat dinner. then i waited for so long, but still no one! do u noe how long i have been standing here?! if not for her, i wld not have waited. i wld have rather gone to hougang.
me: err... (*speechless. i really din noe wad he was talkin abt! my heart was really pounding like mad! kept thinking of ways n means to try to end the "conversation" n leave.)
him: we all fought for the country before. in 1985, we fought for the country... (n then i dunno wad else he was talkin abt alr. kept thinkin of how to cut him off n juz go. i din dare to juz leave like this, coz he looked like he was ready to do anything to me. n there wasnt anyone walkin at tt time! i was constantly looking at the pavement to look for familiar faces, or for anyone who cld help me! even looking for my dad's car on the road! i was really frantic then.)
finally, i cldnt take it anymore. when he stopped for a while, i said, "erm, im really sorry but i dunno wad u r talkin abt, i dun live here. i really dun live here! n im in a rush, to go to somewhere else! can i..." even b4 i cld finish, he started talkin again. n it din seem like he heard me. he juz continued talkin abt his wife, tt woman n their family's lack of money n wad-not.

omg. i almost died there. haix. then when he stopped talkin, i tried to leave again. all the while i kept pacing away frm him. but, still to no avail. sighx. n he kept talkin abt the same old thing! with tt expression! i dunno if he was exasperated or wad, but it was really freaky. esp when i had no one else with me!

then, i felt my phone vibrating. it was my sis calling me. but i din dare to ans, coz he looked like he was very in need of money. hehs. but he had a bunch of keys with him! oh man... anws, i answered her call. luckily. n then he saw tt i was busy. when i heard my sis's voice, the sense of relief was like, sooooooooooooooo great! then, i juz pretended to be very busy, rushing off. but the conversation with my sis ended real fast. n i was soo scared tt he wld follow me, tt i dialed home instinctively! n then i blurted everything out to my mum, who thought i fell again or sth(wad the...). n i walked real fast! omg. it was really horrifying! n i kept turning back to see if the coast behind me was clear!

hahhaa but lucky, i reached sn safely. but really... the fear cld really almost kill someone man! phew~ lucky i survived it... :S
