met up with my dear mich n kai this afternoon! =D really great start to the new year =)

felt so good to be just chatting n catching up with these 2 darlings. hahas. and continue all the cam-whoring that took a long long 4½ month break while i was overseas =p

wandered ard borders for awhile and we chanced upon this book tt gave us valuable and insightful lessons in love (: the thing that stuck with us the most was that "the best thing about friendship is that it is not compulsory". hahaha how true. real, true friends are super hard to come by but i've been lucky to have them by my side all these while =)

got the chance to appreciate mich's driving skills in the frog that i've always read abt in her blog but never sat in before! wahahaha =p cool. and did super touristy stuff like taking photos of the christmas decorations from the car even after the new year is here. hahas. n i found people who wanna go take the hippo/duck tour with me! HAHAHA =D yayys =D

just realised tt my face looks super round with my short hair lol but im not complaining, at least i'm helping to save on shampoo costs for a longer period of time! HAHAHA right, mich? =p

really happy to have met up with the darlings who matter the most to me =)

2009 will be a fantastic year ahead (:

HAPPY HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! =)

hahas yayy finally dun need to keep my being at home a secret anymore! heh =p

met up with my dearest girls just now for a gathering FINALLY with full attendance!!! hahaha =D really love them to bits!!!! counted down n did the same old funny stuff with lots of laughter. heh. really really miss them so so much! lol

will be meeting up with mich n kai later too! pity kim's overseas alr. oh wells. cant wait to see the 2 of them too (:

been spending more time with my family n darling boyfriend ever since i came back from sweden. exchange has really made me appreciate the people who have always been there for me. really really very grateful to have all of them around.

i've never been one to make new year resolutions coz i've never thought that they wld be useful in the first place. hahaha. but one resolution i am intent on sticking with is to appreciate and spend more time with the people who matter the most to me (: i'm sure u all know who u are (:

haha alrights! shall go catch up with some sleep before meeting my 2 babes later! =) nitez and HAPPY 2009 ahead! =)

change of plans regarding travelling brought my departure date from lund forward. spent the last few days in lund settling stuff, packing n doing some last min shopping before cabbing to Copenhagen airport for the flight back to Singapore on 23rd dec. touched down on 24th. haha =) back to sunny, rainy, humid singapore (: really very very happy to see my family and my darling once i touched down at the airport =)


had dinner with my chinese and hk neighbours a few days before my exam. we cooked a dish each and just had a nice and cosy dinner tgt. realised tt we shd have done this wayyyyyy before everyone is due to leave. but wells, at least we did it once. hahas =)

my bike before darren helped me cycle it to AF building to sell. hahas. miss cycling this Ferrari alr. lol

ok fine, it's not a Ferrari. haha. it's written DBS on the bike. but according to yinghwee, it feels like a ferrari. LOL

my bed. hahas. planned on taking a shot with the blanket nicely folded n stuff. but then i decided tt it was really impractical since i always leave my bed like this when i wake up =p so i shd take a picture as it is for memory's sake. lols

the shelf that they gave us halfway thru the sem when they changed all the furniture in our rooms. haha. and that's the poster that my dear boyfriend sent over for our 8th month anniversary. hehe =) pity this pic's a blur. haha. but it's ok, i have the original. hahaha =p






made "jiao zi" with my chinese neighbours again on another occasion a couple of days before i left. haha. learnt how to make jiao zi in sweden. how cool is that. lols

this was a fish dish tt my neighbour did. really super nice! and seemed quite easy to make. heh. shall try it out one day if possible =p

this small bottle actually consists of 56% alcohol. smelt a bit like thinner to me. heh. but the female neighbour of mine was really happy to drink it. lol. tsk tsk such an alcoholic. hahah =p

and this is a traditional swedish drink, called Glögg. apparently everyone in the family, including kids, can drink it. consists of like ard 2% alcohol? but it kinda evaporates coz they usually heat the Glögg up and then pour it into cups with almonds and raisins. tasted not bad, but a bit too sweet to me

went to school to print my e-ticket for the trip home and took photos along the way, for the one last time =)






















went to town again thereafter to get some last min souvenirs and stuff to be brought back home!



wanted to buy more lund uni merchandise but not fated to do so. hahaha. but it's ok, coz i realised tt there isnt much use for them anw, other than for display purposes =p

and yup, one last trip to Willy's, the place where we had been getting our groceries (:
