listening to 1985 by bowling for soup now. its so catchy! hahas anw my youngest sis is in china now! oh man.. went to the airport at 10 plus last night n stayed there until they entered the departure gate when it was the last call alr. where's their sense of urgency?!?!? haiyoh.. make pple wait for the whole grp of them lah. hahas but then grp tours r always like tt right. so i shall not complain so much. anws after sleeping until 9 had phy tuition again. thought i cld stay awake but i kept yawning! oops! oh wells.

oohh the da vinci code's so exciting! haha a bit lag but im finally reading it! yays cldnt stop reading! but im like only at pg 102 now. out of ard 489 pages. still a long long long long way. haha

aniwaes, i shall not be blogging for one month here. i hope. gotta start mugging full time! u noe, its times like this when i really really wish my comp's not in my room?! oh well. at most i'll juz go some place else to study n not get distracted. hahas. shall see how.

we've officially stepped down =(= dunno if i shd feel happy or not. but i think the realisation hasnt sunk in yet. hahas actually i thought i wld cry or sth but maybe coz of my contacts n my super dry eyes, i din. but the heart-wrenching feeling was really.. saddening. esp during kenny's speech. abt how we came as many, so different but we had the same passion n all. hahaha sounds like our council song. lol. but oh well. like wad mich says, it sounds like juz any other speech to others but the meaning it holds for us.. its really indescribable. all the ups n downs we went thru as one whole council. a once-in-a-lifetime experience. i'm so so glad to get to know n work with all of u guys! =)

frm picking up the council form to interviews to speech day. everything juz came as a rush. the seniors seemed to be scaring us haha. but we all persevered anw. n we made it thru! all 74 of us, not knowing wad to expect. i can still rmb how we wld all discuss for ages abt our council motto n vision n stuff. honestly i'm still not sure if we have one. oops. haha but we still made it thru this far =)

elects' camp seemed like a discipline camp. all the pre-camps, 7 o'clock meetings in the morning to prepare for elects camp n the actual thing. seafood rocks! shuhui, cand, su, di, melvin, bobby, wen hao, chris n me =) the super long hike all the way up to bukit timah hill, taking our council photo n walking all the way back to nj! grp5 was the first to reach! WooHoo~! hahas. crossing the sea of green, the ring of support. holding on tgt n being as strong as our weakest link juz helped us bond even more.

invest! rmb staying back to decorate the hall. brenda's deco comm rocks! WooHoo~! tsunami-making waves of change. holding on to long pieces of cloth n tying them to poles n tying the poles on the 2nd storey of the hall. all the nice nice deco n spray-painting the souvenir!

ndc! sock-writing! omg. haha can still rmb the nightmare of writing socks, accounting for them, accidentally smudging some names, being unable to walk ard council room freely coz of all the socks laid out to dry! n the full dress rehearsals. getting to see the fireworks working in the dark. so cool~! though the rope din light up on the actual day, it was really a mean feat for our first ever huge sch project.

teachers' day! class picnics at the parade square. council pdtn was soooooooo good! i/c davina was great! =) n we received our certs of appointment on tt day. hahas =)

open day! finally all our long long meetings came to an end. LOL. deco was great! yays! hahaha the bek-storm, the super nice maps of njc, consistently pestering the art pple to design the long banner n postcards(n screwed up my pw! ahh!) , getting my aunt's company to print the postcards, the atrium deco! step designs! pawprints tt we took ages to print n got log comm to do instead. thanks brent! =) there was great publicity, good programmes, fantastic sponsorship - we got radios! lol. n roller-blading ushers! so happening right!

halloween! a huge success i must say! beginning frm the fantastic pub-stunt! the tours were the main highlight. haha n the gym which was converted into a haunted house. thanks to keefe for reminding us to take note of safety precautions too.

seniors' farewell! hahahha council production! silin the bimbo, hengwee the lamer, dc the cool guy n brent the nerd! oh man it was GREAT! but too bad no photos or video! wasted! ahhh but i really enjoyed all the times we spent rehearsing n trying to think n improvise! yay cp rocks! n nat's deco was so nice! =)

orientation 2005! La Famiglia! started out as a dream of kenny's n it turned out to be a huge success! yay! Marcello! =) ogls, councillors all working tgt to make the yr1s feel welcome. junior class S13! love them loads! hahs. n yeah cultural mapping. heh. all the march-ins, the house skit that changed frm being the shortest to the longest among all houses. the new marcello cheers, the bimbo kinds too! dance party! men in black! cool~!

elections 2005! interviewing was quite fun =) hahas. n ushering during speech day. selling council application forms too. elects' camp 2005! grp 2! Aliens where? there! aliens where? there! aliens where? here! aliens where? ZZzzzZZZzZZz. lol. the sweetest juniors ever! the long long hike again. the disappointment but ultimately more confidence in them. junior ring. then senior ring. most of the seniors came back too! =) NO SLEEP! doing jumping-jacks to stay awake..

invest 2005! mosaic. pieces of us, pieces of you. stepping down after less than a yr. nostalgia. kenny's speech.. lotsa photo-taking! finally a full council photo! house cheers, sec sch cheers, nj cheers, our council song n the sch song! n council outing to di's house! n its so cool coz we actually HIRED A BUS to go to her house! watching movies, eating by the pool, watching AI, n the slideshow kenny, dc n junkiat prepared, reflecting, hugging, talking, walking out to take cab! hahas.

less than 365 days. but the experiences we've gone thru r enough to last us a lifetime =) n yes, lets all meet 10 years later again yah! council oei! =D

a few more hours! sighss... a part of me did wanna pass down soon but i guess the majority part of me still doesnt want to. council has been part of my life for the past year n its really sad tt its gonna end juz like that. in a few hours. like, a walk down the aisle in the hall with the juniors doing guard-of-honour, up the stage, then down to the aisle, passing down ceremony n that's it. we're no longer councillors! NOOOOOooo!!!

arrgh. wad's getting to me? hahas. shucks. went to support nj's soccer team for 3rd placing today n yay they did it! WooHoo~! soccer rawks lah. haha esp aziz! yays! n yes, the 37th were the ones leading in the cheers. though during some parts of the game i felt we were not supposed to cheer but there were cheers. oh wells. haha in any case, the soccer team played a great game today!

hmm okaes better go sleep or else i'll look like a panda tmr(again)!

oohh.. listening to jj's cd now. its one of the rare times im listening to so many chinese cds at one go. haha n i realised tt the cd has 2 tracks with songs of the same tune but in chinese then english. quite cool. but the chinese one sounds more emotional. the english version sounds kinda fake. ahaha i dunno..

im multi-tasking again! doing research abt aurora for physics, trying to rush hw for phy tuition tmr morning (like always) n chatting with pple. anw aurora's quite cool! anws, we had invest full dress rehearsal today. n coz my sis had to go to sch early, i took my dad's car too n reached sch at 7.30! when the thing was supposed to start at 9.30! hahaha my gosh. but luckily i brought chem tutorial to do. finally finished food storage but still a long way to go. sighs, trying my best to clear all my tutorials is so difficult! nvm, 'consistency is the key'--mr yong. haha i shall do my best! heh. okay yah anw i sincerely thought the rehearsal wld be quite short for us. like wad happened for the seniors last yr. but apparently i thought wrong. damn wrong. we stayed in the hall for like almost 2-3 hours...?! was so hungry after tt lah! haha. but tt's beside the point. i mean, they have to learn to be more efficient right. well lets juz say they'll learn a lot during their term yeah.

went with cand to amk central for lunch n then maths tuition. hahaha dunno y but i was so tired! almost juz fell asleep lah. it wld have been a waste of money then. but stoning wasnt any better. haha but its ok i guess.

its friday the 13th today! hmmx. u noe, ever since i came to nj, my perception of this date has changed totally. haha maybe its got sth to do with being in S13. lol. anw contrary to popular or paranoid belief, i din have an unlucky day today. haahs. it was juz normal i guess. =) yays.

oh yah anw, happy bdae to both junior n senior S13s! lol. my class always commemorates this day somehow n the junior class was celebrating their 'bday' today. so cute! lols.

anw! grp 2 Aliens had our jts today! haahs. so cool! initially they din wanna tell us where we're going. n quite some time was spent waiting n waiting. but my class was cleaning the sanctuary before i met the rest so it wasnt as bad as davina n wilson n sharon's wait. heh. well after a long time of waiting n waiting n waiting n waiting for pple to turn up n then for the bus to arrive, we finally went to ps! haahs. n our bus journey was really entertaining throughout. lol. yups, so we went to pizza hut. n to sum it all up, it was great! its like one of the few times we got to all interact tgt n all. haha though most of the time we were eating n laughing. hahas. its really cute of the juniors! they spent lotsa time in the canteen preparing the gifts for us seniors. everyone received a milk bottle each, filled with sweets n notes frm every junior =) but i think the most fun part was after tt! some left but the rest of us, namely shuhui, wilson, junkiat, anup, hengwee, chiiyeh, tran, chitra, charmaine, melvin n i walked to heeren to take neos. n since all of us din noe how to use the machine, it was kinda screwed up. coz 10 pple squeezed into one small booth n we pressed some button wrongly such that the camera zoomed into the centre! n it was a real struggle to get our faces all in! my gosh. hahaha but it was damn fun too! n then while the rest were trying to decorate the neos, shuhui, melvin n i walked ard for awhile n melvin bought this cool pen! hahas. it's like in the shape of the 3rd finger. heh. oh yah! n we saw hilda in the train station! in the train actually. n when we called her she juz came out! hahaha she was so cool lah. haha

thanks loads to any of the juniors who might be seeing this =) i guess after getting to noe u guys even more, my impression of the 38th has improved lots lots! hahaha all the way council! yeah =D

hmm. dunno y either. oh well, nvm. haha anw my sisters n i bought a mothers' day cake for my mum yesterday after she n my dad left for some wedding dinner. but then stupid or shd i say lazy me, stored the cake in the kitchen fridge, when i was supposed to store it in the other fridge so tt she wun see the cake. heh. n my sis left her wallet out on the piano so my mum knew we went out. :| so dotz right. hahas. well anw in the end my mum found out abt the surprise on her own. lol. oops! hahaha but anw it was quite fun to be buying mummy a cake for mothers' day after so long! hahas =D

yups! n yay i finally got a much better physics tutor! my goodness. luckily lah! or else.... i'm gonna cry. haha. n i usually dun cry kaes.. so yah. it means im totally desperate or sth. fortunately the new tcher can teach! i shall do a 'compare n contrast' exercise next time. hahas

HAPPY MOTHERS' DAY in advance to all mothers! duh. haha. oh wells, its been one boring weekend so far! hahas. all tt i've been doing is rush hw for math tuition, going for tuition n now im supposed to read up for physics tuition tmr. bleah. it sucks when i dun have as much free time as i used to w/o tuition. yeah. but i shall not complain. hahas.

hmm dunno wad else to say, this is a crappy entry. haha oh wells. oh!! had some briefing thing for college day yesterday. its gonna be our last unofficially official event le. heh. hope its gonna be fun! though its still not v attractive to me yet. nvm..

once a councillor, always a councillor =) we're not 74, but ONE

cliched as it may sound, its really true. the passion tt we have, the many ups and downs we all went through preparing for projects, events, activities, the satisfaction n even stronger bonds we hold after every event i'll never forget.

elects camp 2005 just ended. haha honestly i wun dare to say it ended with a bang to me coz everyone was too fatigued. but i can see how much everyone feels for council. the 37th n 3th. reading my fellow councillors' entries abt elects camp juz made me nostalgic again.

day1: ard 1 hr of sleep. did sentry duty with kairu, wilson, brent n pradeep. mich, kairu n i were lying on the amphi talkin n looking at the stars. v v nice =) n romantic. lol. pradeep came to join us after tt n i ended up talkin to him while they fell asleep. only felt tired towards the end to sentry duty when bearbear played some songs on his phone's mp3. slept frm 4 plus to ard 6 after finally bathing.
day2 & day3: 0 hrs of sleep. kept trying to stay awake but ended up feeling like i wasnt awake. u noe, tt dreamy floating feeling. had night activity whereby the 38th were woken up in the middle of the night n had to rush to the parade sq. everyone was blindfolded n brought all over sch n they were supposed to feel their way ard sch, find each other n do row call when everyone was together. cld feel the desperation some felt when they were separated coz they were making noise. it was quite entertaining to see how each of them responded n adapted to the situation. a number had ingenious ways of communicating without making any noise but some were really disappointing. din show much initiative. eventually when they all finally made it together n did a row call, the feeling was indescribable. im sure part of us were desperate to go back to sleep. many were totally worn out. but everyone stood n sang the sch songs. both versions. in front of the sch crest. n the 37th sang our council song. n we did a few yah cheers. the euphoria was amazing. had some rest time to sleep. most of the girls in my bunk totally knocked out n we all overslept! rushed to the linkway to see the juniors forming the guard of honour n joined them for breakfast. went to help out in preparing for the ideas generation workshop soon after. cldnt really think straight. hahas but it wasnt too bad, juz tt keeping awake took some effort. many seniors came back! glad to see so many of them =) haha but din have much chances to talk to them. anyhow we all did the ring thing. the 37th survived through both versions of the sch songs n our own 37th council song! broke our own record =) yays! we rock! lol. n well done 38th! its their first time doing it n its not bad, i must say. reflections session after tt was really great. everyone juz said wad's on their minds n really reflected wad everyone else felt. (juz a side note, it's 9.37 pm now! so cool. hahaha. 37, geddit? lol)

the hike on day 2 was really quite tiring. n honestly disappointing. yes, im sure most of the 37th think so too. esp my grp, when they seemed to have the wrong attitude. no sense of urgency, not even an inkling of trying to do better, or thinking of overtaking the other grps. not really sensitive towards each other too i must say. luckily for the wake-up call frm junkiat at kap. or else i have a feeling we wldnt have been the 5th grp to reach macritchie. they have a lot to learn. seriously, its depressing to think tt our juniors dun seem to be as mentally strong as us. but i still gotta congratulate them for surviving the sleep-depriving camp with so much enthusiasm.

sigh. im really gonna miss everything. all the events we've planned for. all the super early meetings. super long gms. lol. getting screwed for attire, or doing anything wrong. getting locked out of the council room. staying in the council room sometimes to mug. sleeping in council room. cleaning up cr n sl n messing them up again in less than a week. the many friendships formed throughout the term. CIA! open day! Aerius! 852 gang! frequent council room-goers! everyone. arrgh. 2 more weeks before invest. im dreading it =( really hope tt the 37th still stays as one even after this.
